Two mates who loved a beer, a bit of bravado, and some sunshine.

Benny Richards was a major player in the conception of "The Bongaroo." In fact, it's named after the "Big Dog" himself. Benny was often the host of many a party, always curated a banger of a playlist, and had a Flabongo in hand (Flamingo Beer Bong).

Our first encounter was during the month of 'Movember.' Walking past each other on the way to the men's room, we both gave a nod of appreciation, in awe of the hairy upper lips. This nod led to a night on the town and, years down the track, I was asked to be the best man at his wedding to Kara.

Our Benny lost a fast-paced battle with cancer in 2018 and left behind a legacy of JJJ Hottest 100 Parties. Lost but not forgotten.
